Richard Padro is a Brooklyn-born actor, writer, director, and theater artist whose work bridges the stage and screen, focusing on character-driven storytelling, humor, and humanity.

As an actor, he has trained extensively in classical and contemporary performance, with experience spanning theater, film, voiceover, and devised work. His work as a producing artistic director and educator has shaped a collaborative artistic philosophy rooted in emotional truth, ensemble, and storytelling that connects deeply with audiences.

Richard is also the writer of Lenny: A Brooklyn Story, a Brooklyn-set heist dramedy exploring aging, redemption, friendship, and neighborhood identity. Across all mediums, his work often centers on outsiders, working-class characters, and people searching for dignity, connection, and reinvention.

He currently serves as a Producing Artistic Director while continuing to develop original work for stage and screen and collaborating with artists and communities across the country.
